Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, I am one part of the Redzovic Jiu Jitsu family. I have invested the last 17 years in teaching, competing, and traveling the world to find a deeper understanding of the gentle art. Some of my recent projects include the instructional training videos, "Open Guard Translated" and "Basically Escaping Side Mount", which are excellent resources for beginner and experienced grapplers alike. When I am not traveling around the country and abroad, I teach at my Chicago-based academy. For more information on how you can train with me in Chicago or abroad check out this link with information regarding one-on-one sessions.

What the professionals say;

Achieving the rank of black belt in Gracie Jiu Jitsu is a tremendous achievement. To do that, an individual must be intelligent, determined, patient and a quality teacher. Adem has all of those qualities and more
— Kenny Florian, UFC veteran and commentator
Adem Redzovic is one of America’s BEST kept secrets in the jiu jitsu scene. Adem has a solid combination of awesome technique and mental toughness.
— Denny Prokopos, World Jiu Jitsu Champion, 10th planet Jiu Jitsu San Fransisco
When you train with certain individuals, you will find that everyone has a “game”, something they are really good at, and you have to shut that part of their game down. When you train with Adem you will find an extremely well rounded Jiu Jitsu game. He has a detailed understanding of the fundamentals as well as the advanced positions in Jiu Jitsu. His students are EXTREMELY lucky to have such a great instructor as well as practitioner of the arts.
— Cole Miller, UFC veteran, American Top Team
Adem above all is an amazing person and for a person like him to have a black belt is a blessing to the art of Gracie Jiu Jitsu. I believe we can all learn a little from Adem. From techniques of the gentle art to behavior outside of the academy and philosophies that jiu jitsu brings to your life. He is a man who puts the positive things we all feel from jiu jitsu into words. He is a real master of the art and has come to a point of deep understanding of all aspects of our great art. I HIGHLY recommend his teachings and advice anyone to attend his classes.
— Clark Gracie, World Champion, Clark Gracie Team
I have trained with Adem since he was a white belt and I am proud to see how far he has come on his Brazilian Jiu Jitsu journey. Adem grew to become a solid black belt and well accomplished professor, making Gracie Barra proud of having a professor of his level representing our team in Chicago. It is rare to find a young man with Adem’s determination and passion for what he does. I admire that very much and to me he is a source of inspiration.
— Marcio Feitosa, Multiple time World Jiu Jitsu Champion, Gracie Barra
Adem has VERY good skills on the mat and as an instructor has a great way of communicating and teaching his students.
— Clay Guida, UFC Veteran
Adem is a world class competitor and teacher. But what really sets him apart is his passion for the sport and his desire to advance the art. He is the embodiment of a true jiu jitsu fighter.
— Miso Ceko, Ralph Gracie Black Belt
